About Billy Baseball

I was born to be around the game of baseball. I LOVE it, and my passion is contagious. I started throwing and hitting balls before I could walk! As pictured above, my future was destined for baseball… or to pursue a career in fashion/modeling (look at that get-up!)

I grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland and have been part of its fantastic baseball community for over 20 years. On this journey, I was very fortunate for the opportunity to play at many of the top national venues - Cooperstown Dream World, the AABC World Series, and Perfect Game, just to name a few! I played 4 years of varsity baseball, graduating from Good Counsel High School in Olney, MD in 2007. In my time there I earned WCAC All-Conference (3X), All-Gazette (2X), All-Examiner (2X), Rise Magazine First Team, Baseball Factory First Team, and Under Armor All-American honors.

My goal from a young age was to play Division 1 college baseball and I worked extremely hard for the opportunity to play ball at Georgetown University (Division 1 – Big East Conference). At Georgetown I played against several future big-league stars including George Springer, Josh Harrison, and AJ Pollock.

I graduated Georgetown in 2011, majoring in Economics, and I cannot stress enough the importance of the student-athlete! After graduating I worked full-time in the world of finance for 8 years. But something was missing: this beautiful game of baseball! I was a talented player, but I’ve learned my abilities to coach, assess players, and communicate baseball principles way exceed my talents on the field.

Baseball is an incredible game, so fun to play, but overflowing with life lessons in hard work, perseverance, and failure. Let’s get to work!
